I wanted to have my take on redesigning the 14th Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver, not really making it similar in many ways to what has been shown in the TV specials. But more giving a shot of my own interpretation of it, by resizing it a bit, changing the materials and all.

This is mostly why you will wonder why it looks bigger, shorter, rounder. I wanted something more comfortable for the hands and more cartoony.

Doctor Who is one of my favourite TV shows ever, its universe compares to Star Wars or Lord of the Rings for me, this is well constructed, strong, with an amazing potential for videogames, side stories in books, comics and so on. And it is actually already well spread on many different media type.

This Sonic Screwdriver, is the finest Doctor's tool allowing him/her to unlock many situations, activate bippy/ringy things, build actual shields (that's new) and so on. The screwdriver is the light saber of Doctor Who.
